We’re very excited about the upcoming collaboration between Canadian piano maverick Chilly Gonzales and Berlin’s techno producer Boys Noize, aka Alex Ridha. Their collaborative album Octave Minds is out at the end of the month and should bring both former Glass interviewees’ fortes – Gonzales’ orchestral finesse and Ridha’s electronic wizardry – to the foreground.
Here’s the first release from the album, the quietly majestic Symmetry Slice, which comes accompanied by a striking video from German film-maker Rolf Bremer.

Octave Minds is out on September 15 via Alex Ridha’s own Boysnoize Records
