The latest Acqua di Parma eau de cologne: Colonia Club, is inspired by dressage – that most elegant of equestrian disciplines. Acqua Di Parma describe dressage as “the impeccable synergy of movements, the perfect combination of emotion and style”. It is this fusion of strength and delicacy; feeling coupled with a strict adherence to formality, that inspires their latest cologne.
Acqua di Parma eau de cologne: Colonia Club
Colonia Club is a traditional citrus: topnotes of bergamot, lemon, petitgrain and mandarin are all present and correct, but the addition of mint and neroli oil is a surprise, and one that has us re-applying through the day for a renewed hit of fresh invigoration. Heart notes include geranium and lavender, while base notes of earthy vetiver, musk and amber underpin the florals and remind us that this is a fragrance with a traditionally masculine sensibility.

As is ever the case with the best gentlemen’s perfumery, this fragrance will also be worn by women who appreciate its subtle challenge. This is a perfectly balanced cologne: delicate, energising and memorable. Bottled and packaged in a striking dark green, we consider Acqua di Parma Colonia Club to have excellent turnout – the presentation is as impeccable as the formulation itself.
