Anthony Vaccarello launches Saint Laurent Productions with Strange Way of Life

AN EXCITING new venture sure to make waves, Saint Laurent has recently launched their brand new subsidiary, Saint Laurent Productions, becoming the first luxury house to fully produce films.

The venture is a progression of Anthony Vaccarello’s vision for the label, and though is a certain move further into the  immortalisation of the renowned ready-to-wear Maison, it also aligns with the cinematic productions of Vaccarello’s runway shows and collections: “I want to work with and provide a space for all the great film talents who have inspired me over the years,” mentioned the designer.

Not only will select films be produced by the Maison, but all cinematic creations will feature clothing designed by Vaccarello himself.

Hitting the ground running, Saint Laurent Productions will be participating in the 76th Cannes Film Festival in May later this year, premiering as part of the official selection of Strange Way of Life, a much anticipated queer western drama starring Ethan Hawke and man of the moment, Pedro Pascal.
