Dior and Parley For The Oceans unite for a Beach Capsule Collection

FOR A second year, Kim Jones of Dior has collaborated with Parley For The Oceans in a harmonic fusion of fashion and sustainability, and this time partnership has given birth to an enchanting Beach Capsule collection for autumn 2023, exuding Dior’s fervour for a greener, innovative future in fashion.

Inspired by Monsieur Dior’s love for both terrestrial and aquatic nature, the autumn 2023 collection embodies the haute couture house’s commitment to sustainability. With a striking blend of Jones’s innovative design aesthetic and Parley’s mission to combat ocean pollution, the collection pushes boundaries and redefines luxury with 96% recycled fabrics.

Infused with a delightful kaleidoscope of colours, the collection showcases a vivacious palette of coral pink to lemon yellow, juxtaposed with a nuanced spectrum of greys – a homage to Monsieur Dior’s signature hue. Iconic Dior motifs, including the Dior Italic and the CD Diamond, adorn the recycled materials, reflecting the house’s undying creativity and ingenuity.

A pinnacle of the collection is a stunning underwater shot imprinted on various outfits. From surf wetsuits, crafted in collaboration with Vissla, to an elegant stole, the print pays tribute to the marine universe’s awe-inspiring splendour.

This Capsule, in essence, represents Dior and Parley’s dedication to environmental protection. It’s a striking example of how eco-conscious style can work hand in hand with sustainable practices.
