Guerlain celebrates World Bee Day through international fundraiser

SINCE the first Bee landed on the Eau de Cologne Imperiale in 1853, Bees have become an unmistakable emblem for Guerlain, symbolising the French house’s commitment to protecting bees through many of its programmes and partnerships, along with their unwavering support for a more sustainable world.

To celebrate World Bee Day and International Day for Biological Diversity, between May 20 and 22, Guerlain will be holding an international fund to raise up to one million euros in aid of the Guerlain For Bees Conservation Programme. Across the three days, the House will donate 20% of its worldwide sales, along with 20 euros for every repost of its World Bee Day Instagram image.

Since 2011, Guerlain has been preserving bees through its conservation programmes, adorning the bee motif on precious bottles, limited-edition designs and the Aqua Allegoria perfume line, including their most recent edition – Nettare di Sole – which is infused with sweet honey and shimmering orange blossoms.
