LC:M Kent and Curwen SS15

When leather is associated with the sportier end of the menswear spectrum it instantly makes very well for enticing formal-wear. At Kent and Curwen today it was leather-luxe aplenty, just take the driving gloves and host of hot-to-trot leather varieties that added all of the pop-potent energy. Stud glam details were important, as each daring dud saw K&C go a little wilder this season in an attempt to assert authority on LC:M’s first day, utterly audacious in their response to menswear masculinity.

Reading between the clear-cut lines, convincingly convinced Cuban heels made a few appearances next to charming Chelsea boots, paired with skinny drainpipe trousers that dabbled deliciously in new-wave suavity. But aside from all of the vivacious tropes; commanding colour blocked with graphic monochrome prints, including a newly dubbed “splinter print”, what we wanted to see most was the consummate, unconditional suited staples that men want to see on themselves, and that’s what will carry Kent and Curwen through.
