Trussardi has designed, as always, its SS collection for the real woman, a woman who knows her higher self can be manifested most pertinently through statement clothing. She knows that even more than this, it demands so. A short and snappy collection of versatile “Made-in-Italy” formals got down to this point quickly with an instantaneously strong spectrum of luxury hues, ready made for a customer who knows luxury befits her status.
Yes, you could probably find many of the pieces that make this collection what it is elsewhere this season but you wouldn’t find it styled with such perceptive recherché, look to the ensemble finished off with a lovely little grandiose touch, the ascot.
Elsewhere, expanding on suede and leather staples, springtime mid-length coats of ostrich leather, broken down into further ensembles, deserve to make their way into the dernier cri due to a sheer fear-less factor, once again, this is all about the statement. Next to that, going by the majority of the heavier duty trans-seasonal combo’s it’s a given that Trussardi aims to make universal sex appeal something we are entitled to every month of the year, why else would they put so much effort into making cable-stitch so very alluring. Glossy hands down, this season comes with many lovely creations that we’d snap up in the blink of a deeply kohl’d eye.
