Saint Laurent to host four-day exhibition of Olivia Arthur’s work

ONE of six global exhibitions, Saint Laurent has announced a show in London focussing on the work of photographer Olivia Arthur  – specially selected by creative director Anthony Vaccarello.

Set to be held at the Observation Point in the Southbank, London, the exhibition aims to capture differing aspects of the Saint Laurent personality represented by a small collection of creatives.

With exhibitions popping up all over the globe in Paris, Seoul and LA, featuring the work of individuals such as Harry Gruyaert, Daesung Lee and Alex Webb, London’s showcase will promote the work of Olivia Arthur.

Born in London, Arthur has traveled globe as a budding photographer, working in countries such as India and Italy, before returning back to the UK and becoming the president of Magnum Photos.

Arthur’s work, often haunting and intimate, combines minimalism with the perfect touch of sincerity, her series of black and white images a perfect selection for Saint Laurent’s exhibition.

With projects that explore sexuality, youth city culture, women and cultural divides, Arthur’s portfolio is extensive and captivating, surely culminating in an exciting showcase hitting the Thames-side location in the Capital this June.
