STAY AWAKE as Sleeper’s latest AW24 collection will be dropping on its website this month and it’s a tale of all things mysterious and magical. Step into Sleeper’s enchanted world for winter and you’ll see the brand has drawn inspiration from tarot cards, leopard patterns, circus aesthetics, folklore, and the charm of the Italian circus.Â
The collection pays homage to the most mystical city Turin and celebrates Carlo Mollino, a surrealist architect, racer, self-taught skiing guide author, and erotic photographer.Â
As for the silhouettes, colour palette and detailing, expect new Bow Pyjama Sets in Zebra and Leopard Prints, inspired by Mollino’s Casa Mollino, cute with a dose of darkness, they channel this space that is rich in symbolism and mythology.Â
Mollino’s Teatro Regio has also proved to be an influence on the line, drawing on its auditorium which nods to the female form, and its 1,700 crystal chandeliers inspire the new Kylie Lurex Slip Dress and Kylie Lurex Hooded Set.Â
There are also updates to bestsellers, such as the Suzi Maxi Dress and Party Pyjama — which come with bows instead of buttons.
In partnership with Milan-based pattern artist Yuliya Herasko, Sleeper also offers two editions of the luxe cotton poplin Kotyk set, which dons mystical embroidery that taps into folk art and the Italian circus, packed with symbolism for the wearer to enjoy.
