WHITE Cube has announced their upcoming exhibition Sweet Lust at their Paris gallery co-curated by Michèle Lamy

Sweet Lust is curated by Mathieu Paris and Michèle Lamy and combines paintings, sculptures and photography covering pieces from 1929 to present day. The art show will focus on celebrating the poetics of the body and how it has been expressed in various forms and interpretations within the exhibited art.

French artist Michèle Lamy elaborates on the idea behind the exhibition: “The body is beautiful and [Mathieu Paris, Senior Director at White Cube, and I] are happy to present a story of our time, one that proposes a new stage of opportunity and strength.”

Some of the artists featured are French painter Julie Curtiss, British artist Tracey Emin, Polish sculptor Alina Szapocznikow, American painter Sarah Slappey, fashion designer Rick Owens, Iranian-German visual artist Nairy Baghramian, and British-Palestinian installation artist Mona Hatoum.
