WITH Valentine’s Day fast approaching, Alexander McQueen are swamping punk for love and have unveiled an extra special capsule collection for the occasion. Including a new handbag style, The Short Story enters the realm of McQueen along with some limited edition Tread Slick shoes for both men and women – continuing Creative Director Sarah Burton’s love for creating his-and-hers pieces.

Taking the signature motifs from previous collections and inspiration from sixties broaches, doves, hearts, roses and lips are embroidered into various pieces to add that touch of femininity attached to the day. However, not straying too far from known McQueen elements, safety pins, the iconic skull and a pierced heart with a cupid’s arrow through it are mixed among the detailing.
