Maison Ladurée celebrates 160 year anniversary with a limited edition macaron box

RENOWNED worldwide, the iconic Maison Ladurée is steeped in the gastronomic heritage that goes centuries back, and this year the french Pâtisserie celebrates its 160th anniversary.

Their emblematic macarons have since become a trademark of the Parisian patisserie. Nevertheless, as the years go by, Ladurée’s values remain intact with their traditions. The Maison still follows the philosophy of “focusing on the highest quality raw materials, local sourcing whenever possible and taking into consideration when produce is in-season”.

Pâtisserie Ladurée prioritises the use of natural products, especially for the colouring agents that give their delicate pastries the famous pastel tones.

Paying meticulous attention to every detail, the creative process behind appears almost magical yet dedicated to constant reflection and research. Julien Alvarez, Chef of Sweet Creations and his team, let their fantasies run free while exploring the houses’ DNA.

To honour the richness of the making, the Maison launched 18 macaron boxes. Composed to your personal preference of limited edition flavours, the design of the box was inspired by the ceiling of the first Ladurée boutique on Rue Royale and arrives with a beautiful branded bow. A truly exciting addition to the assortment of these luscious treats!
