Bottega Veneta’s SS23 campaign brings the Andiamo bag out

TAKING the Bottega Veneta SS23 collection from the runway of Milan last September, Matthieu Blazy’s latest instalment is brought to life through lensing his BV characters on the go.

Storytelling is key to this campaign as we explore the contrast between craft in motion and quietly powered journeys as they lead us to different parts of the world. Each of the collaborators and talents has been meticulously examined to let their personalities guide Bottega Veneta to where they should pinpoint their approach.

For example, we see Kate Moss in a landscape imagined by Gaetano Pesce for the show, and then Emma Balfour pictured nearby her coastal home in Australia.

The new expression of the iconic Intrecciato bag technique, the Andiamo, becomes the pinnacle of this campaign as it embodies the spirit of the bag and is a tribute to continuous movement forward. The bag’s name, Andiamo, means ‘let’s go’ in Italian and circulates around the expert craftsmanship of Bottega Veneta’s atelier artisans.
