EVER the pioneers of inspired and inspiring store concepts and interiors, Australian skincare company Aesop are collaborating with Paulin, Paulin, Paulin – the family business behind the French designer Pierre Paulin who distribute and represent his work – to transform Aesop’s Paris office in Rue Saint-Honore into a temporary home for the brand’s Facial Appointments. This will be a first for Aesop in Paris.

Now in its 30th year, Aesop has come into its own as an instantly recognisable and revered company – their packaging is as distinctive as their name – and its stores, although each one is unique, has an unmistakable Aesop aesthetic.
The inspiration behind the collaboration between Paulin, Paulin, Paulin and Aesop began when Benjamin Paulin, the son of Pierre Paulin, passed the Aesop Condorcet store and saw a vintage chair designed by his father which led to Jean-Philippe Bonnefoi, the skincare brand’s Internal Architect, developing a close relationship with him and so the collaboration began.

Spread across three rooms, the treatment specific facility will house a selection of Pierre Paulin’s work. Vintage Paulin pieces sit with new features such as Jean-Philippe Bonnefoi’s re-purpose of wax over 100 wall panels, diffusing soft light into the room.
