W Hong Kong is a result of a collaboration between two design firms, Yasimuchi Morita of Japan’s Glamorous and Nic Graham of Australia’s g+a, who worked together to bring hotel’s main design narrative of an Enchanted Forrest to life. The result is truly enchanting: an ecosystem of leaves, butterflies, hummingbirds, and mosquitos is scattered across the hotel, while 130-feet-tall tree-trunks rise from the Cardoso stone floors of hotel entrance, and 5,000-egg wall appears inside the hotel’s restaurant.
Extreme Wow Suite
The Forest narrative extends to all 363 rooms of W Hong Kong, with wooden dreamcatchers on the walls, rainforest showers in the bathrooms, and skyline views from every room, overlooking either the city, harbour, or ocean. Alongside standard rooms, guests can also book the Extreme Wow Suite, spreading across 2,000 squared feet, with enough space to host a dinner party of eight. All rooms come with large LCD HDTV, oversized writing desks, and surround-sound systems.
The Woobar
Bringing guests’ dining experience to a brand-new level, W Hong Kong boasts several signature restaurants, with Kitchen being one of them. The restaurant, which offers international buffet spreads, is abundant with eccentric details, such as the playful Chairman Mao painting and black-and-white holograms of nymphs in the background. Additionally, guests can visit Sing Yin Cantonese Dining, to experience authentic Cantonese cuisine with a modern twist, and Woobar, which boasts world-class cocktails, sumptuous afternoon tea, and, at night, an A-list line-up of DJs.

For an ultimate escape from life’s worries, W Hong Kong offers Asia’s first Bliss Spa on the 72nd floor. The spa, which has received numerous awards over the years, offers over 80 treatments and utilises a range of techniques and ingredients. Overlooking Hong Kong harbour, Bliss Spa subtly leads to Wet, Hong Kong’s highest outdoor poolside located on the 76th floor of the W Hotel, and Wet Deck, Hong Kong’s highest poolside bar.

W Hong Kong hotel is open for business not just for overnight stays, but also for event reservations. With nine event rooms, which combine 8,320 squared feet of space, parties up to 800 can book the space for business or leisure. The Great Room of W Hong Kong was specifically designed to “awe” its guests – with 21-feet high ceilings and three distinctive Chinese knot chandeliers, the room is made for celebration. Hotel’s event space was also designed to accommodate the guests of its W Loves Love programme, created to celebrate weddings, engagement ceremonies, and bachelor parties on-site.

Located just above the Kowloon Metro Station, W Hong Kong is conveniently connected to the Elements Shopping Mall, one of the city’s high-end lifestyle shopping malls, and to the waterfront boulevard, which offers a wide variety for gastronomical exploration.
