Lanvin launches second chapter of campaign with Steven Meisel


LANVIN proudly presents the second chapter of its innovative Character Studies campaign, which launched in autumn with a powerful female cast. This time the spotlight shifts to a new group of male protagonists – the Modern Heroes – who embody Lanvin’s core values and le chic ultime – a term coined by the house’s founder, Jeanne Lanvin.

The Modern Heroes campaign focuses on the contemporary Lanvin man, who exudes independence, sensuality, curiosity, and discretion. As one of the first designers to unite men’s and women’s fashion, Jeanne Lanvin’s trailblazing spirit is revived and celebrated through this campaign’s cohesive vision.

Iconic photographer Steven Meisel collaborates with creative agency M/M Paris to bring the Character Studies to life. The stellar lineup includes Quintin van Konkelenberg, Alberth Johnson, Gendai Funato, and Job, with the return of Raquel Zimmermann, who starred in a prominent role in the first chapter.

Launching globally in early April 2023, the campaign will span print, digital, social media, and out-of-home channels, bringing Lanvin’s vision of the modern hero to life.

With its innovative approach and alluring visuals, Lanvin Character Studies: Modern Heroes is poised to make a significant impact on the fashion world and further solidify Lanvin’s status as a pioneering force in the industry.
