This January, the sixth edition of the Catlin Guide 2015 will launch at the London Art Fair to feature a selection of works of the most promising UK arts graduates. Exhibiting collections of these emerging artists’ latest works, the Catlin Guide provides a medium to introduce, during their first transitional year following graduation, young talented artists, who demonstrate ambition, skill, potential and integrity.

This year, the limited edition Guide showcases works by 40 of new artists working in the UK, including both Jon Baker and multi-media artist Dominic Watson, from Glasgow School of Art, who explore masculinity in very different ways; Landscape photographer Felicity Hammond, RCA works in Cyanotype, observes and records the deterioration of industry juxtaposed with the emergence of technology; while Dominic Hawgood a RCA graduate, works with photography, CGI and lighting design, exploring topics such as Christian evangelical sects; multi-media artist Tian Zhu, RCA challenges habitual beliefs and behaviour in a series of quirky “interruptions”; also painters Tina Jenkins, University of Reading , who recently won the Threadneedle Prize,  Oliver Hickmet, City and Guilds of London Art School , and James Tailor, The Cass.

The Catlin Guide 2015 – New Artists in the UK, curated by Justin Hammond, will be available on the Art Catlin stand P25, in the Art Projects section of the London Art Fair, Business Design Centre, Islington, from January, 21 to 25.
Alongside the Guide, a limited number of free copies will be given away to visitors.
